Timings of the School Day
The School Day
The school gates open at 8.30am; the school doors open at 8.35am for all children. Children are encouraged to enter their classrooms from this time through the playground doors and prepare themselves for the start of the school day.
The school day starts at 8.45am when the register is taken and lessons begin promptly.
The playground is supervised from 8.20am each morning for those children who have used the ‘drop-off’ facility in the school’s car park. Children can not be left on the school premises before this time.
Nursery:
The morning Nursery session runs from 8.35am until 11.35 am
The afternoon session runs from 12.05 pm until 3.05 pm
Full day care runs from 8.35am until 3.05pm
For those children attending our Nursery 30 hours funding, the day runs from 9am to 3pm. There is an option of starting at 8.35am – for which the parent will be charged.
Reception
Pupils start at 8.35am and finish at 3.05pm (32 hours and 30 mins across the week)
KS1
Pupils start at 8.35am and finish at 3.05pm (32 hours and 30 mins across the week)
KS2
Pupils start at 8.35am and finish at 3.10pm (32 hours and 55 mins across the week)
All staff must be made aware of which adults will be collecting their children.
Children not collected by parents/carers at the end of the day will be taken to the After School Club and parents will be charged accordingly. It is very important to collect your child on time as some children can become upset and distressed.
